I started this site in 2025 after realizing how many times I’ve bought something and said “This [thing I bought off of Amazon] is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” I say that at least twice a day, and I’m 100% serious. Many gear reviews are written for serious practitioners of a specific sport, hobby or lifestyle. Instead, I want to bring the perspective of someone who dabbles in a lot of different hobbies, and is constantly learning new terminology and the in’s and out’s of different gear.
